Storify released some major changes to its website today that make creating social media stories even easier.
For anyone not familiar, Storify lets you create stories that incorporate posts from Twitter, Facebook and other social media and photo websites. The stories have a really clean layout and are pretty darn neat.
I’ve only put together one sizable post using Storify, a recap of The Citizens’ Voice coverage of Hurricane Irene that relied heavily on Twitter. It was pretty easy to use, but organizing text and Twitter posts started to become annoying because the editing box was a bit too small for the amount of content.
That’s not the case anymore, though.
The editing area is larger, making it easier to add text and preview your story. But the best change is the “collapsed view,” which shrinks Tweets and other content and makes it much easier to organize everything.
I can already see how the changes will make creating future stories a breeze. So, now I have no excuse to not play with the service more often. Perhaps election day will lead to my next Storify post.
